Pottery

Our pottery studio is comparable to professional studios, featuring 6 wheels for throwing, a slab roller, extruder, several kilns, and places to work.

We fire to Cone 6 bisque and Cone 5 glaze, but can support specialty firings with advanced notice. Our kilns are loaded, unloaded, and run by dedicated volunteers who have completed the training program.

Glaze library

Members have access to a wide range of paint-on commercial glazes and dip glazes prepared by our volunteer team. We ask that if members use a pint, they leave a pint for other members to use.

Kilns

Our dedicated volunteers run the kilns approximately twice a week based on how full the queue carts are. More firings are done during busy seasons.

Any ENTS member can become trained on how to load, unload, and run the kilns - talk to the Pottery Committee after joining to learn more.

There are no firing fees for the kilns - costs are built into the membership.

Clay

Our members typically provide their own clay, often from Plainsman.
